The Illinois House of Representatives congratulates the Teutopolis High School boys golf team, the Wooden Shoes, for winning the 2025 Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 1A State Championship. The team, led by Head Coach Mike Wilson and Assistant Coaches Manny Wei and Leonard Westendorf, claimed their championship at the Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomington from October 10 to October 11, 2025. Senior Coen Pennington won an individual medal during the competition, sharing second place for his score of 146.
