Illinois ABLE Savings Day honors August 14, 2025, celebrating the state's ABLE program's success in helping people with disabilities achieve financial independence. The Illinois ABLE program, launched in 2017, has grown to over 7,100 accounts with more than $101 million contributed. It has assisted in paying for approximately $40 million in qualified disability expenses, including education, job coaching, and health and wellness.
