Establishes a Landlord-Tenant Task Force to study housing issues and recommend improvements.

The Landlord-Tenant Task Force is created to address housing challenges in Illinois. The Task Force will study current laws, best practices for evictions, squatting, safety measures, and discrimination. It will also recommend legislative changes to improve housing policies. The Task Force will consist of representatives from various associations, community organizations, and housing law experts. The Illinois Housing Development Authority will provide administrative support. The Task Force must submit its final report by December 31, 2026.
