The Illinois House of Representatives commends local businesses for their donations to O'Fallon Fraternal Order of the Police Lodge 198, which provided a custom-designed, 14-passenger bus to the Parent Teacher Organization for Exceptional Children (PTOEC). The PTOEC, founded by parents, teachers, and community members, offers individuals with intellectual disabilities opportunities to socialize and participate in sports. The organization needed a new, wheelchair-accessible vehicle, and local businesses helped raise $25,000 for the bus.
