Illinois HJR0067 creates a Condominium Governance and Transparency Task Force to study and recommend improvements in governance, financial integrity, and safety for condominium and common interest community associations. The Task Force will examine board governance, procurement practices, conflicts of interest, reserve funding, building safety, and dispute resolution. The Task Force will submit a report to the Governor and the General Assembly by January 7, 2027. The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation will provide administrative support.
