The Regional Stormwater Commission is created to address the issues caused by outdated stormwater and sewerage systems in Berwyn, Oak Park, Cicero, and parts of Chicago. The commission will study the problem and recommend policy and legislative solutions to ensure equitable costs for residents and businesses. It will submit a report to the General Assembly by January 5, 2027, and will then be dissolved. The commission consists of officials and professionals from the affected municipalities and neighborhoods.
