The Illinois End Gun Violence in Disproportionately Impacted Areas Task Force is created to study, analyze data, make recommendations, and develop policy proposals addressing the root causes of violence and resulting trauma to drastically reduce gun violence in disproportionately impacted areas. The Task Force will consist of various officials and representatives, including from the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Department of Human Services, Illinois Housing Development Authority.
