The End Gun Violence in Disproportionately Impacted Areas Task Force is created to study, analyze data, make recommendations, and develop policy proposals addressing the root causes of violence and resulting trauma to drastically reduce gun violence in disproportionately impacted areas. The Task Force consists of various representatives from government agencies, non-profits, media, and residents of high-violence areas. The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority and the Illinois State Police Division of Justice shall provide administrative support.
