Allows nonpublic school students to enroll part-time in public schools for extracurricular activities.
This bill amends the School Code to allow parents of nonpublic school students to enroll their children part-time in public schools for interscholastic extracurricular activities. The school district that the student attends part-time shall receive state funding for the pupil's participation. Part-time students are not required to pay fees for enrollment or participation in public school programs or courses, except to the extent that full-time students are required to pay the same fees.
