Illinois HB5503 establishes an Adult Workforce High School Diploma Program for eligible students.

Illinois HB5503 establishes an outcome-based Adult Workforce High School Diploma Program to allow eligible students to qualify for enrollment and, upon successful completion, to be awarded a high school diploma. The Illinois Community College Board is responsible for setting up the program, approving providers, and disbursing funds based on student milestones. Eligible students must reside in Illinois, have not attained a high school diploma, and require six units of credit or less to graduate.
