Establishes a Prescribed Burn Liability Claims Pilot Program in Illinois for six years.

The bill amends the Illinois Prescribed Burning Act to create a Prescribed Burn Liability Claims Pilot Program. The Department of Natural Resources, after consulting with the Illinois Prescribed Fire Council and the Department of Insurance, will adopt rules to establish the program. The program will provide coverage for losses incurred by eligible persons as a result of prescribed burns conducted in accordance with the Act by certified prescribed burn managers. The bill also creates the Prescribed Burn Liability Claims Fund, which will consist of premiums and fees collected under the Act.
