Advances the regulation of nursing delegation in Illinois by allowing registered professional nurses to delegate tasks to other registered professional nurses and licensed practical nurses based on a comprehensive nursing assessment. Prohibits delegation of tasks requiring nursing knowledge, assessment, judgment, inference, and decision-making to unlicensed personnel. Nurses cannot be disciplined for refusing to delegate tasks based on patient safety. Effective immediately.
