Amends the Chicago Firefighter Article of the Illinois Pension Code to provide occupational disease disability benefits to firefighters. The bill allows active firefighters who have completed seven or more years of service and are unable to perform their duties due to a disabling condition to receive an occupational disease disability benefit. The benefit is payable during the period of disability until the firefighter reaches the age of compulsory retirement.
