Establishes the SNAP Response Working Group to analyze federal changes to SNAP and recommend state actions.

The SNAP Response Working Group is created to review and analyze federal changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and their impact on Illinois residents. The group will gather data, make cost projections, and provide recommendations to the General Assembly. The Working Group will submit a preliminary report by January 1, 2027, and a full report by April 1, 2027. The group is composed of representatives from various organizations and state agencies and will be dissolved on May 31, 2027.
