Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to increase the retirement age for investigators from 60 to 65 years.

The bill amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to change the retirement age for investigators from 60 to 65 years. It also removes the exemption for investigators employed in the title of Capitol Police Investigator. Investigators must be authorized a distinct badge by the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State can expend funds for evidence purchase and related services, with checks not exceeding $5,000.
