HB4932 increases reimbursement rates for orthodontic services and other medical services in Illinois.

HB4932 amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to increase reimbursement rates for orthodontic services for children by 50% starting January 1, 2027. The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services must evaluate the network adequacy of Medicaid providers of orthodontic services statewide, prioritizing rural/Downstate areas. The bill also increases rates for sedation evaluation and deep sedation/intravenous sedation for dental services by 33% starting January 1, 2025.
