Establishes the Future of Work Task Force to study and report on emerging technologies and their impact on employment.
The Future of Work Act of 2026 creates the Future of Work Task Force to identify and assess new technologies affecting employment, wages, and skill requirements. The Task Force will develop job standards and working conditions to ensure future work builds a vibrant middle class. It will also propose workforce development programs for future jobs. The Task Force will submit a final report to the Governor and the General Assembly by August 31, 2028, and every 5 years thereafter.
