Establishes the Green Light for Buses Act to enhance public transit efficiency through traffic signal infrastructure improvements.

The Green Light for Buses Act establishes the Committee on Efficient Arterial Signal Infrastructure to advise the Illinois Department of Transportation on strategies to improve public transit service efficiency and reliability. The Committee will review existing traffic features and equipment, estimate economic impacts, and recommend practices for expanding transit signal priority. The Department will incorporate the Committee's recommendations into the Public Transportation Plan.
