HB4751 amends the Prevailing Wage Act to clarify that wages and fringe benefits for skilled laborers, mechanics, and other employees on public works projects can be based on their craft and skill level. The bill defines "public works" broadly to include various construction and maintenance projects funded by public bodies or public funds. It excludes projects performed by employees under collective bargaining agreements. The changes take effect July 1, 2026.
