Amends the Illinois Wildlife Code to update terminology and regulate trap sizes and placements for trapping wildlife.

The bill amends the Illinois Wildlife Code to replace references to "leghold" with "foothold" and specifies how trap diameters should be measured. It prohibits placing certain traps in water or on land if they exceed specified jaw spread sizes. It also bans the use of certain traps for specific animals and restricts setting traps near animal dens or bait. The changes apply immediately upon enactment.
