HB4691 amends the Developmental Disability and Mental Disability Services Act to modify funding for home-based services for adults with mental disabilities. The bill allows the Department of Human Services to exceed funding limits for adults whose service needs require a higher level of funding. It also permits the Department to use funds for specified tangible items directly related to meeting basic needs. The bill takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
