HB4602 amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act to establish rules for interstate data sharing agreements. The Department of Human Services can only share data if the reciprocal state allows access to data from the reciprocating state to licensed healthcare entities and application vendors. The Prescription Monitoring Program may require memoranda of understanding with all customers, detailing integration methods and data use requirements.
