Amends the Department of Natural Resources Act to remove the matching funds requirement for public museums seeking capital development funds.
The bill amends the Department of Natural Resources Act to remove the requirement for public museums to match state funds with local or private funding for capital development. Previously, museums with attendance over 300,000 needed a $1 match for every $1 in state funds, and those with attendance over 600,000 needed a $2 match. Now, no match is required regardless of attendance.
