Illinois HB4502 allows veterans to use toll highways without paying tolls if they have an Official Permit Card.

HB4502 amends the Toll Highway Act to allow veterans traveling to or from medical appointments to use toll highways without paying tolls if they have an Official Permit Card from the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. The Authority must adopt rules for issuing these permits. Additionally, emergency services vehicles and personnel must apply for permits to use toll highways without paying tolls. The Authority maintains lists of authorized users open to public inspection.
