Illinois HB4483 amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to suspend a driver's license if a fatality is caused by their medical condition.

HB4483 amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to require the Secretary of State to suspend a driver's license if a fatality is caused entirely by the driver's medical condition. The suspension remains in effect until the driver provides medical documentation that the condition is being treated. All information provided to the Secretary under this provision is confidential and for the Secretary's use only.
