HB4412 allows the Capital Development Board to enter into public-private partnership agreements for construction projects on behalf of higher.

HB4412 amends the Capital Development Board Act to authorize the Capital Development Board to enter into and manage construction projects through public-private partnership agreements on behalf of higher education institutions and state agencies, excluding the Department of Corrections. This applies if the state agency or higher education institution is already authorized by statute or otherwise permitted to enter into such agreements. The Board is also permitted to adopt rules to implement this provision.
