Illinois HB4364 amends the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act to change the maximum estimated basic professional services fee. For contracts entered into before the effective date of the amendatory Act, the maximum fee is $25,000. For contracts entered into on or after the effective date and before January 1, 2027, the maximum fee is $40,000. For contracts entered into on or after January 1, 2027, the maximum fee will be adjusted annually based on the Consumer Price Index-U.
