HB4337 amends the School Code to require the Chicago Board of Education to designate a traceable communication system as the exclusive means for district employees and volunteers to communicate electronically with students. This system must trace all communications and allow parents to access and review them. Employees and volunteers are prohibited from communicating with students outside this system or through unauthorized programs. Parents can submit written consent for specific employees or volunteers to communicate outside the system.
