Illinois HB4335 amends the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act to include costs of operations, infrastructure, and programming of not-for-profit veterans and military organizations as eligible redevelopment project costs. These costs must be related to the redevelopment project and are subject to certain limitations and conditions. The bill also modifies the definition of "redevelopment project costs" to exclude the cost of constructing new municipal public buildings for administrative, public safety, or vehicle storage purposes.
