Illinois HB4276 amends the School Code to redefine "co-location" in the Chicago School District.
Illinois HB4276 amends the Chicago School District Article of the School Code. It redefines "co-location" as a school action where two or more separate schools operate within the same building but maintain their distinct programs and attendance areas. The bill specifies that co-location does not include a school's temporary use of a second building to increase capacity or relieve overcrowding if the school continues to operate in its original building under its own principal and local school council.
