Illinois HB4265 amends the Township Code to allow moderators to report disorderly conduct to law enforcement.

Illinois HB4265 modifies the Township Code to allow moderators to report individuals who refuse to withdraw from a township meeting after being ordered to do so due to disorderly conduct to an appropriate law enforcement agency. Previously, moderators could order police or others to remove and confine the individual until the meeting ended. The bill also removes the provision allowing the township to recover a fine from the disorderly individual.
