From the Legislature
Amends the Pharmacy Practice Act. Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation shall authorize examination of applicants as pharmacists at such times and places as it may determine (rather than not less than 3 times per year at such times and places as it may determine). Provides that the examination shall assess an applicant's competence of theoretical and applied pharmaceutical sciences. Provides that there shall not be a separate examination of pharmacy law required for licensure as a pharmacist in Illinois. Makes conforming changes.
