Revises the rules for pretrial home confinement in Illinois, removing the requirement for participants to have movement spread out over at least two days per week for basic activities. Instead, it allows for more flexibility in approved absences from home, such as employment, medical treatment, or educational activities. It also mandates electronic monitoring and requires participants to maintain access to a working telephone and a monitoring device. The supervising authority must adopt rules to remove electronic monitoring devices from pregnant participants during labor and delivery.
