Illinois HB4110 amends the Local Mass Transit District Act to allow local mass transit districts to initiate transit-oriented and trail-oriented.

HB4110 amends the Local Mass Transit District Act to authorize the Board of Trustees of every local mass transit district to initiate transit-oriented developments and trail-oriented developments, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, governmental, institutional, or childcare facilities near transit stations, bus stops, transit hubs, transit nodes, or trails. The bill also allows these districts to partner with public bodies, private entities, non-profit organizations, or institutions for these developments.
