Illinois HB3803 amends the Illinois Pesticide Act to prohibit the distribution, sale, offer for sale, and use of glyphosate and any products containing glyphosate within the state. The Department of Agriculture is authorized to adopt rules necessary to implement this ban. Glyphosate is defined as a synthetic compound known as N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine with a chemical formula of C 3 H 8 NO 5 P.
