Illinois HB3795 amends the Illinois Insurance Code to require insurers to report suspected fraudulent claims and premium fraud to the Director of.

HB3795 amends the Illinois Insurance Code to require insurers to report factual information pertinent to suspected fraudulent insurance claims, fraudulent insurance applications, or premium fraud. The Director of Insurance must determine that the information is necessary to detect fraud or arson. Insurers must report this information to the Director or a designated organization. The bill removes provisions concerning the Director's designation of data processing organizations or governmental agencies to assist in gathering and compiling fraud information.
