Establishes the Office of Civility to promote civility and reduce violence in Illinois.

The Office of Civility Act establishes an Office of Civility within the Governor's Office to promote civility and reduce violence in Illinois. The Office will educate individuals on civility, morality, and institutional violence, and strive to reduce barriers to peace. It will also promote access to behavioral health services and collaborate with other state agencies to implement evidence-based strategies for reducing violence. The Office will be supported by an Advisory Board consisting of representatives from various state agencies, community groups, and educational institutions.
