Illinois HB3598 amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to prohibit certain agricultural equipment from operating on public roadways with a corn head.

Illinois HB3598 amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to prohibit an animal drawn vehicle, farm tractor, implement of husbandry, or special mobile equipment from operating on a public roadway in the State with a corn head attachment affixed. The bill also mandates that such equipment, when operated on a highway between sunset and sunrise, must display markings and lighting that meet or exceed the specifications set by the American Society of Agricultural Engineers.
