Illinois HB3540 amends the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Women, and Persons with Disabilities Act to set a minimum 5-year certification period.

Illinois HB3540 amends the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Women, and Persons with Disabilities Act by establishing a minimum 5-year certification period for vendors. Certified vendors must notify the Program of any changes in their business status or ownership that could affect their certification. Program staff are required to inform vendors at least 6 months before their certification expires.
