Illinois HB3519 amends the Illinois Procurement Code to allow state agencies and public institutions of higher education to designate certain procurements as continuous improvement procurements. This designation aims to promote broader inclusion of small and diverse firms. Once a procurement is designated, the agency or institution may resolicit the defined services no sooner than every six months but must resolicit at least annually during the term of the award. Awarded respondents from the initial solicitation will remain awarded unless they choose to be removed.
