Illinois amends its ABLE account program to include informational materials about the program for families of children with disabilities. The bill requires school districts to provide parents with information about the Illinois Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) account program during annual individualized education program (IEP) reviews and section 504 Plan meetings. The Office of the State Treasurer will prepare and deliver these materials to regional intake offices, which will then disseminate them to parents and guardians.
