Illinois HB3433 amends the Department of Natural Resources (Conservation) Law to create a Flood Risk Reduction Pilot Project. The Department of Natural Resources will design, implement, and evaluate up to three demonstration projects in flood-prone areas, subject to appropriation. The Department can require counties to submit progress reports and will submit a final report to the General Assembly and relevant agencies.
