Illinois HB3095 amends the Guardianship and Advocacy Act to change the composition and term lengths of regional authority members. Each regional authority must now consist of at least 7 and no more than 9 members, appointed by the Director of the Guardianship and Advocacy Commission. The initial terms of these members vary: three serve for one year, three for two years, and three for three years, assigned by lot. Members cannot serve more than two consecutive three-year terms. A majority of appointed members, with a minimum of five, constitutes a quorum.
