HB3064 revives expired civil claims for sex offenses and incest in Illinois.

HB3064 amends the Limitations Article of the Code of Civil Procedure to revive civil claims for physical, psychological, or other injuries from sex offenses or incest that were previously dismissed due to expired statutes of limitations. The revived claims can be filed between six and eighteen months after the bill's effective date. The Supreme Court's rules will govern the procedure for these revived actions.
