Illinois HB3057 allows employers and state-supported higher education institutions to create policies safeguarding employees and applicants from.

Illinois HB3057, known as the Freedom to Train Act, permits employers and state-supported institutions of higher learning to establish policies, practices, and requirements designed to protect employees and job applicants from discrimination based on race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. These policies can be managed by an office of diversity, equity, and inclusion or another administrative office. The act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
