Supplemental disaster relief grants for Illinois residents affected by federal disaster declarations.

The bill amends the Disaster Relief Act to allow the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security to provide supplemental grants to individuals and households affected by a federal disaster declaration. These grants aim to cover disaster-related necessary expenses or serious needs not met by federal assistance. The grants are limited to the difference between the federal grant and the appraised loss, up to $10,000 per individual or household.
