Illinois HB2999 amends the Counties Code, Township Code, and Illinois Municipal Code to allow zoning ordinances to not prohibit or restrict the erection of industrialized residential structures or manufactured homes on real property if they are compatible with the area, meet aesthetic compatibility requirements, and meet exterior design standards. The bill also allows counties, townships, and municipalities to establish health and safety standards for pre-owned manufactured homes and inspection programs, with immunity from liability for injuries resulting from defects or conditions in the.
