Waives or reduces vehicle registration fees for Illinois veterans and active-duty military personnel.

The bill amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to provide fee waivers and reductions for vehicle registration for veterans and active-duty military personnel. Beginning with the 2026 registration year, the standard registration fee for passenger motor vehicles and certain other vehicles will be $100 for Illinois vehicle owners with a veteran's designation on their driver's license.
