HB2805

INS CD-COST SHARING RESTRICT

Chamber Passed·4/8/25

Illinois HB2805 prohibits cost-sharing requirements for examination and testing of victims of specified criminal offenses.

HB2805 amends the Illinois Insurance Code to ensure that group accident and health insurance policies do not impose deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, or other cost-sharing requirements on coverage for examination and testing of victims of specified criminal offenses. This provision does not apply if the coverage would disqualify a high-deductible health plan from eligibility for a health savings account.
