Allows Police Officers' Pension Investment Fund board meetings to be held via audio or video conference.
The Illinois Pension Code is amended to allow meetings of the Police Officers' Pension Investment Fund board to be conducted via audio or video conference. This applies if the chairperson determines that an in-person meeting poses a health risk and conducting the meeting virtually is in the best interest of the board and the public. The board must provide notice and access methods for public participation and keep verbatim records of the meetings. The board bears all associated costs.
