Illinois HB2750 amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to allow college students in public institutions to qualify for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits if their studies improve employability. The bill defines "public institution of higher education" and requires the Department of Human Services to establish a protocol to identify and verify student participation in educational programs that qualify for SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) program exemptions.
